This weekend we popped down to the van to take a look at the new veranda, grab lunch from the New Cod on the Block on-site Café (delicious, as always!) and give Ebony a run on the beach (less than 10 minutes walk from the site!). Despite the slight drizzle, I only had a T-shirt on and could feel a warm breeze… yes, I know it should be 25 degrees and blazing sunshine at this time of year, but even when it’s like it has been this past few weeks, it was still nice to be out at the beach. Ebony loves it whatever the weather of course. There is talk of an “Indian summer”, there always is, but you know it may be true this year. The last two weeks of July look promising, and temperatures are rising again with August looking very nice, according to the long range forecasts.
